Beach Day Flight Training
Words cannot explain what a WONDERFUL time we had at the Air Ventures Katama Beach Day Fly In. We want to say thank you to all our students and friends who came out to enjoy the experience. We had a fleet of 11 planes take-off from North Central State Airport, and our students were able to navigate their way to Katama, land on a grass strip runway, taxi, park the plane and walk across the street to the incredibly beautiful South Beach, on Martha's Vineyard Island!!! We don't like to brag, but...
Air Ventures is kicking butt, creating new pilot's one at a time! Over the last few weeks we've had the chance to Solo three students!!! On top of that, one of our commercial students and one of our IFR students, went cross country together, all the way to Arizona! Whoa! We aren't messing around when we say we produce skillful, competent and professional pilots who are confident with their skills! Let's give a big congrats to our courageous students, Regan (shown above), Luke

Kneeboards
When it comes to kneeboards, its a wide wide world of choices. You can get multiple different kneeboards for all sorts of purposes, from holding your ipad, to a traditional kneeboard. My thoughts on this subject are simple. Keep it simple. The kneeboard that I use is made by a company called Sky High Products and is called the Strato kneeboard. Originally designed for helicopter pilots who don't have lots of time (or hands) to write, it is a modular kneeboard that you can att

Eli & Carsons Cross Country Adventure.
At the tail end of the worst winter in recent history, Eli's flight training schedule (like everyones) had gotten off track. With a goal of becoming a flight instructor by the begining of the summer looking like it might be out of sight, a plan was hatched to makeup the lost flight time over the last 3 months. Eli would hop in a Cherokee, and fly out to California and back. Sounds awesome right? This 4000+ mile trip would allow Eli to get back on track with his training sched
